Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using The Battle Within Recovery Program, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Recovery, Medical, and Liability Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Nature of the App

The Battle Within Recovery Program is an educational, motivational, and peer-support resource. It is not medical advice, mental-health treatment, substance-use treatment, psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis, or emergency care. It does not guarantee recovery from any condition.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your personal decisions, actions, safety, treatment choices, and recovery plan. You should not begin, discontinue, or change any medication, treatment, or care based solely on information in this app. Consult a qualified professional for your individual needs.

You agree to use the app lawfully and respectfully, and not to misuse or abuse the platform or other users.

Facilitator Use

Facilitators must work within their education, training, professional qualifications, organizational policies, and applicable laws. Access to a participant's information through the app does not create a licensed healthcare relationship unless separately and formally established.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Battle Within Recovery Program, its owner, employees, facilitators, representatives, contributors, and affiliated organizations are not responsible for a user's relapse, return to substance use, treatment decisions, failure to obtain professional care, or other consequences resulting from decisions made independently by the user. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Emergency Notice

This app is not monitored as an emergency or crisis-response service. If you believe you or another person may be in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. For suicide or crisis support in the United States, call or text 988.

Modifications
